Project Overview

Like a port-a-potty at a hot summer music festival, passwords are no one’s favorite but are very necessary. To ease the pain Intel Security and the True Key team made a password manager that uses the things that make you uniquely you, your face and fingerprint, to unlock their password manager which in turn for the rest of the sites you use.

We were asked to help promote the new password manager and encourage sign ups. Because True Key recognizes what is unique about you we created the Weird and Wonderful Awards where people could nominate the unique people in their lives on social media to win custom prizes.

People jumped at the opportunity. Thousands of entries poured in showcasing their weird and wonderful family and friends. The landing page generated it’s own traffic and 75% of the traffic downloaded the app.

Custom Prizes

Every month during the contest we sifted through nominations and found the best entries for the Weird and Wonderful categories. Of those selections, 10 monthly winners received customized small prizes like blankets, mugs, bobbleheads, and sneakers.

It sure is nice to know that somewhere in the world there are pairs of best friends walking around in matching sneakers , it warms our hearts. The Grand Prize winners received $10,000 to split. Congratulations to Heather and Kathleen!
