Project Overview

But to help PolypVac stand out, we had to make “nose oysters” sexy. If you’ve ever had — or heard of — nasal polyps, then you’ll know a tool that can get rid of those pain-in-the-ass perma boogers without going into surgery is a pretty big deal. PolypVac is the amazing piece of med tech that does just that.

To get to the real “meat” of nasal polyps, we read testimonials from actual polypectomy patients. Their answers included everything from poetic metaphors (“I can smell colors now!”) to outright hyperbole (“I can smell, like, 100x better!”). For PolypVac’s identity, we wanted to capture these patients’ renewed enthusiasm for life — being able to breath, smell, taste, and even sleep again.

We chose a minty green to reflect a mighty breath of fresh air, a minimalist type as calm and restful as a good night’s sleep, and messaging that echoed patients’ relief: I can breathe again.
